The school day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Students should arrive on time each day to ensure a smooth start to instruction and maximize learning opportunities.

The main office can be reached at 516-733-2331 during regular school hours. Office staff are available to assist with general questions, attendance matters, and school-related information.

The school nurse can be reached at 516-733-2335. Please contact the nurse's office regarding student health concerns, medication administration, immunization records, or medical updates.

Hicksville Public Schools uses ParentSquare to communicate important information with families, including school announcements, emergency notifications, event reminders, and district updates. Parents and guardians are automatically enrolled using the contact information provided during student registration. To activate your account, visit ParentSquare Sign Up or download the ParentSquare app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you need assistance accessing your account or updating your contact information, please contact your child's school.

Student report cards, grades, attendance information, and other academic records are available through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Parents and guardians can create an account by visiting the Parent Portal and using the Access ID and Access Password provided by the school. If you need assistance creating an account or obtaining your access information, please contact your child's school office.

For questions regarding bus routes, pickup and drop-off times, transportation eligibility, or other bus-related concerns, please contact the Hicksville Transportation Department at 516-733-2185. Families whose transportation is provided by Educational Bus Transportation (EBT) may contact EBT directly at 516-935-2277.
